Deviation Actions
What better time to write a journal entry than 2:45 AM on a Thursday night? I'm pretty much past the point of no return. If I fall asleep now, I'll end up being more tired than if I just stay up.
Anyway, it's been awhile since I've shown any activity on here. In my last journal, I talked about nearing 2,000 pageviews. Now I've blown past that and I'm nearing 3,000. It's obvious that I have been recognized during my inactivity. My most popular deviation is "Minecraft - The Other Side."
I have seen this re-uploaded to sites like reddit and imgur several times. It's nice to see someone has given me credit on those threads and I like seeing the total of over 200,000 views on that one piece of artwork on imgur. But it gets somewhat annoying and upsetting when I go to the original deviation, and see that it has only 4,000 or so hits. I thought a watermark would redirect that audience back to my page. So, I present this question to you: How would you feel if I started watermarking my images? I don't mean the intrusive deviantART watermark, just something small and text-based tucked away in the corner. The only reason I didn't watermark my older deviations because any watermark is somewhat intrusive in the first place. Most of my deviations are wallpapers, and I didn't like the idea of having a watermark on something that was going to be applied to a desktop. I was afraid a watermark might prevent a person from setting a deviation as their wallpaper in the first place. But after some reconsideration, I don't think a not-so-obstructive or distracting watermark will do much harm. Besides, if I place it in a corner, it's likely to be covered up by the taskbar once it's applied as a wallpaper.
That's it for all the watermark business. Moving on to future works: I know most of my art is Minecraft fan art, but if you look at some of my older deviations, they are just general wallpapers. Most of them are abstract. This was the type of stuff I made before I really got into Minecraft. My point is, I don't want to be viewed as a deviant who only makes Minecraft art. I can do much more, besides Minecraft and wallpapers, such as skins for applications, web themes, plugins, etc. I'm going to try to create some other forms of art and share them with the deviantART community. In fact, I have gotten pretty popular on a site called userstyles.org, which is the official website for Stylish where users can upload bits of code called "styles" that change the way a website looks. (Stylish is an addon for Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome that applies these "styles" to webpages. Here is the link to my userstyles.org profile: userstyles.org/users/69668 I have been featured on the homepage there multiple times. )
That's all I can remember wanting to talk about for now. As usual, I may come back and make an edit later because I always feel I leave something out. I'd like to thank everyone who has helped get me this far. I truly do appreciate every new watch, fave, point, llama, comment and share. I try to be nice to all the people I have conversed with because that is also an important key to success. So thanks again to all the people who have helped me in some way, and I wish you all a good day.

I'm not dead!
I haven't posted an update here in over a year. I've logged in every now and then to check up on my deviations and comments (there have been a lot) and finally decided it is about time that I wrote something in my journal and discuss briefly what has been going on in my life.
The past year or so I have been very busy. School and such didn't give me enough time to do other things I wanted to do. But now that it is summer I can start to relax some and catch up on things that I have neglectated such as deviantART. I have made some things over the past year that I'm considering uploading here shortly. Just quick little renders/images I created f
Update!
First off, I would like to say: Happy New Year! Although, I'm 8 days late. :XD:
Hello again to anyone who bothers to read my journals. :P It's been quite a long time since I've been active on here. I've been logging in and out frequently to favorite deviations and look over comments, but I haven't really given an update as to where I've been and what I've been doing. So, this will be that. :meow:
I've been coming up with some great ideas for Minecraft-related deviations, especially since the addition of fireworks (hint-hint ;)) and also some more general deviations. If you look in my gallery I have some abstract style art in there. I plan t
Over 1,000 pageviews and a super llama! :D
Last time I wrote a journal entry I had a little over 500 pageviews. A few days ago I had around 700, then within a few hours I had over 1,000. :XD: I have no idea what happened, but on September 17th I got 431 pageviews.
:bigthumb327956473:
If you are one of those 431 awesome deviants, please tell me what happened! :eager: How did you find me, because it bugs me that I don't know. :XD: Oh, also I got a super llama. :D Thank you VicTycoon (https://www.deviantart.com/victycoon) for giving me my tenth llama! :happybounce:
Heh, well that's all I wanted to say pretty much. :P You guys are so awesome, especially the 8 deviants who :+devwatch: me. :D But I love you all.
500 pageviews
Just realized that I passed 500 pageviews. :happybounce: Probably not really that big of an accomplishment, but it is for me. I've been getting a bunch of faves and comments, and submitting deviations to groups. But not really gaining any watchers. So, if you like one or more of my deviations then add me! If you like my current work you're going to like my future ones because I'm constantly trying to improve myself. I play around with a "finished" image for about an hour to see if there is any way I can make it look better before I submit it. So thanks to everyone who added one of my deviations to their favorites or left a comment. I tr
