May I say, that's a pretty intimidating Nether portal. I wouldn't go in it if I were you. Actually, I don't care. It's a video game. Do whatever you want. 
In a video game, scary becomes awesome right?
I did a lot more experimenting to achieve this result. With every new deviation I create, I learn more about GIMP. 
Although I've been using it for years, I keep learning new ways of using tools I already know about. Only took me about 10-20 minutes to do that, then I tried editing it to make it look like it was going to suck you in. Did I do a good job on that? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. As I am self-taught and always trying to improve. You can also show your appreciation by taking the time to give me a llama, watch me if you like my other work, or if you really like my work, a few points would be greatly appreciated also.
